Most Eventful Year i can Remember

Have we ever had so much happen at one time? This has to be the most eventful year i have seen in a long time. From Politics to War to Storms, price increases in fuel, ignornat people running cities and states. Like New Orleans mayor wanting the people to move back in and no water, electricity or fuel?
Sometimes i know we take jabs. But after seeing it on TV and talking to a couple who have been there. First thing they say is the mayor should be the first to go, when the area can be liveable again.
I know we all take our jabs folks. Especially at the president, but i wouldn't want to be in the man's position.
I'd say some of the decisions that have to be made, well think about it.
I don't think i've seen days like these since i was 6 or 7 and Nam was going on, and when i was 12 or 13, and we had the flooding here and then had the cold winter that followed, that year major rivers froze over and stopped shipments down major rivers, sending some cost through the roof.
I guess im just rambing some. But what times we are having and some we have had.

Sometimes all the things going on scare me because of the signs of the times and such...I try not to dwell on it. Someone told me the other day "Maybe your son will grow up to be President" and I said NO WAY...I wouldn't wish that burden on him.

I can certainly understand that. Having become a grandpa after raising a son. And him now 22. I look at the newest addition to our family and I have to wonder about his future.
Times sure have changed alot. And life is sure nothing like it use to be.
I know most will say, well it was going on and we just didn't notice. Maybe. But then again maybe people just were not so bold with somethings.
If anything i worry about the kids today and their futures. Not a lot out there and the times, as you stated, it does have to make one think. Bibical or not. It still has to get your attention. And that is any religion.
Im not saying the end is coming. Because no one knows.
I just know when i look at my grandson, i sure wonder when he is 22 as his dad was, will the world be a better place, or will we be in the awfullest mess, we could ever imagine.
I keep looking for some good news, but it's far and in between.
And it sure makes you wonder about your kid's future and well in my situation your grand kids situation.
